Sustainably farmed, grapes were selected from the Ingle Vineyard plots named “Carl & Vern’s Blocks”. These plots are cooler and have a mineral laden, rocky soil. Pure and firmly structured with aromas of crushed granite, lemongrass, and green apple skins. It has balance and finesse finishing with lingering essences of fresh fruit. Initial aromas of green apples with hints of creamy vanilla wafers and fresh baked bread are further complimented by nuances of lime, melon and a touch of jalapeno peppers. The entry on the palate is brightened by a crisp acidity that leads to a fleshy mid-palate of citrusy components, and ultimately ending with a substantial, lengthy finish.

2006 Brassfield Estate Eruption, Volcano Ridge Vineyard
Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache and Petite Sirah are artfully blended to create a symphonic eruption of aromas and flavors in the glass. Ripe plums dominate the nose along with smoky tar, cedar, cigar box and toffee nuances. The big fruit offering on the palate of juicy flavors are reminiscent of blueberry, plums and hints of black pepper. Full of depth and concentration the wine finishes with medium tannins and a lingering finish.
