Songwriters in the Round Featuring
Raffy Espiritu, Christina Li and Shawn Evans In celebration of the promise of 2011
All artists will play their original materials and some covers.
Raffy Espiritu started writing and performing original songs since he joined the open mic circle in 2001 that include " Digital World" and " Working Past Midnight". He is remembered as a Silicon Valley trobadour capturing love and life in Silicon Valley. He is scheduled to release his second CD to be recorded ...in Nashville, Tenessee early this year.
Christina Li, an accoustic singer song-writer, began her career in 2009 and is fast capturing the attention of her audience in indie-acoustic cafe venues in the San Francisco area. She just won first prize in the "You've Got Talent" held at the Angelica's last December 17, 2010. Her personal lyrics and alto voice work in tandem to showcase and share her passion for music.
Shawn Evans completed music theraphy at Berkelee College of Music. He is very much sought after performer delivering powerful and passionate rendition of his own compositions and cover songs by Bob Marley " No Woman No Cry" and Michael Jackson " Billy Jean". He is sure to entertain.

Los Boleros
Los Boleros is an all Acoustic Latin Music group that is taking off in San Francisco. The music style is Traditional Son Montuno, Son Cubano, Boleros, Traditional Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and many others. Los Boleros revives old classics like "Dos Gardenias", "Cuarto de Tula", Como Fue" and "Besa me Mucho". Talented and attractive singers, both male and female, are backed up by the traditional instrumentation of Old Havana, Cuba with a visual performance that only Los Boleros can deliver! Passionate solos by Flute, Sultry Saxophone, dreamy violin and smoking Tres Cubano will get you hooked.
